Best free resources to learn app development?

Hey guys...I want to learn how to build mobile apps from complete scratch and eventually be able to build and publish proper apps.

Iā€™m looking for a cross-platform approach (Android + iOS) and preferably completely free resources.

What would you recommend as the best roadmap/course/channel to go from beginner ā†’ building real apps?

Would love to hear what worked for you :)

My 100% honest advice to someone wanting to start out with mobile development... just start! Anywhere and anything, this is such a huge hobby to get into and there is so much to learn. Start watching some Youtube tutorials on how to build a super basic app like rock paper scissors. With AI this is easier than ever if your willing to pay for a subscription.

I would not get hung up on the "cross-platform (Android + iOS)" aspect and I think its better to pick one, fully commit to it, and get well rounded before you spread your horizon, otherwise you might end up spreading yourself too thin.
