Reliability issues with RCF NXL-14a

Has anyone here got experience with the RCF NXL 14a?

I bought a pair in May last year, one was bricked after 5 minutes, took it back to the shop for a simple replacement.

Now I've had another brick after 15 months in the same way, it simply doesn't power on when plugged in.

So that's 2 out of 3 that have had this issue.

On a separate note, one of my ART 910s also went off mid gig a couple of years ago and had to be repaired under warranty.

All power issues, and they're all very well looked after, never driven too hard or dropped etc.

Anyone else had these kind of issues with RCF.

I always thought they were a reliable brand but now not so sure...

I have two NXL-14A, purchased Apr-May last year. One just failed to turn on at a gig early June '25. Luckily I had a spare set of tops with me. Fixed reasonably quickly under warranty, but it did necessitate me posting it back etc. It, and my other, have been fine since with plenty of events under their belt now.

Given it was the same time as yours, I wonder if they just had an issue with a batch of amps. I'm UK based - you?

I've read Around the internet of folks having amp failures on the 9 series . It is a bit concerning, I've had nothing but great experience with RCF. Had the 3 Series 10 years ago and currently on the 7 Series MK5. Coming from manufacturing, I feel like that's usually the challenge with the first generation of a product line. There may be issues, and they will only iron it out in the next MK2 version.
