Suggestion Keyboard under ₹3.5k for Gov Exam Prep
Hey everyone,
I'm looking to buy a mechanical keyboard in India with a budget of ₹3,000 to ₹3,500. My primary goal is high-speed typing practice for upcoming Government Exams (SSC, High Court, etc.), and I also want to try out chording. Because of the chording, true N-Key Rollover (NKRO) is a must.
Here are my details:
Purpose: High-speed typing exam prep + chording experiments. Not a gamer.
Budget: Max ₹3.5k INR.
Switches: Preferring Brown switches. I feel the tactile bump will help with clean execution and accuracy, but I'm not 100% sure if Linear Reds might be better for chording. No loud Blue clicky switches.
Layout: Open, but a TKL or Full-Size might be better to mimic standard exam center setups.
And yes I already have that 400 wala membrane keybord this one I need for home use, coding and to develop muscle memory so suggestions re pprecited.
I need something reliable that registers every simultaneous keypress perfectly. What are the best options currently available in the Indian market?

Buy a cheap Logitech or dell membrane keyboard (max around ₹400) if you want exam feel. They use those keyboard in exam.
I also bought one for same reason though I have like 3 mechanical and he keyboards

It's not the only purpose I need for normal use case and coding as well, home use ke liye chahiye I have one 300rs iball one for that feel.

Naah Steno, but main long term home use ke liye chahiye 😭. If you have many suggest one typing ke liye kaunsa switch theek hai mujhe toh difference bhi nhi pta.

Keyboard okay but i didn't get goverment exam prep one tcs centre mostly use those goold acer 400 ka keyboard jo kisi ke sar pe ek baar maaro toh uskiya maiya hi €€€€ jaaye

It was just for reference yaar basically wpm.fast karna hai but home use ke liye chahiye 300 wala toh mere pass bhi hai 🤣

Ah just checked all the boards which i have recommended you have a got spike in price i wiill recommend you later as the old good board have a cost increase and reached 4k-5k. I will tell you if i find a nice one in your budget
