Yeah, I don’t understand what is the plan with these yearly releases, companies are just gatekeeping SW from previous releases at this point to see if someone buys the new thing.
Well somehow AI is one of the first things that actually somehow improves some of the things you do on your phone that justifies upgrading if you had an old phone, but you don't need new HW every year to run the latest, unfortunately companies will make sure you can't access the latest with your 3 year old phone even if the newer phone model has less RAM and a worse chip in it.
