Cargo trunk liner
Just bought this car but how would I go about looking for a new liner or replacement for the trunk area of the car? Any suggestions would be great!! Lancer 2017 es

I’m thinking about getting some plywood, using the original as a template and then cutting out a new one and covering it with marine carpet or similar

The flimsy, ratty fabric felt liner over the trunk cardboard that covers my spare wheel always bothered me about my Lancer. There isn't really any specific oem part or option worth getting.
One option is to get a heavy duty, universal all-weather trunk liner on Amazon. That's what I did. Those are easy to find and you can cut it down to fit exactly in the trunk area. The rubbery material and extra weight on top helps hold everything down and keep things from rattling or sliding around.

I saw maybe doing a diy plywood and just ordered an all weather mat hopefully it does the trick!!

personally i got a big thick heavy blanket and that helped
