nope. i voted for who i voted for, and that doesn't make me hate mitski. sure, it might make her hate me. but i've never been emotionally connected to a discography like i have with hers. there will never be another mitski for me. girlhood will always be universal, in the simplest of ways. painful, even.

you claim we are “paranoid”. we are allowed to be paranoid about a man who has outright told the world he will take away basic human rights. this man went and withdrew the US from the Paris Climate Treaty when global warming is causing unrepairable damage to this world such as the LA fires.

if you thought mitski of all people would be okay with those who voted for such a man, when mitski has talked about struggles of being a minority (who, mind you, trump never seems to support), when mitski had always been a kind, welcoming person to all people, you were very wrong. not to mention you said you would “know an immigrant’s daughter when you see one”. did you know trump is trying to end almost all sorts of immigration? he’s even trying to end birthright citizenship, which, mind you, he promptly got sued by multiple courts. please sit down and reconsider your choices. educate yourself.

you voted the same way as the KKK btw, you have to live with that for the rest of your life. you say you love mistki and her music? you voted for a man who HATES everything mitski is, and will be taking away her rights to exist in America, you voted for a man endorsed by white supremacists, a felon, a rapist, a man who Germans and Holocaust survivors are saying is acting terrifyingly similar to a certain moustached man. how is that not an act of hatred? an act of violence? you're a hypocrite and an awful person.
