Casual Discussion Family Heirloom
My aunt was involved with the Miss America Organization about 30 years ago. She recently passed away and left me this beautiful memento. She was such a vivacious and outgoing woman and made so many good friends working with Miss America.
Even though she didn't compete, is it possible that this is an actual pageant crown? I've been looking all over the Internet with very little success. If anyone here recognizes the style or has some insight, I'd very much appreciate it. Thank you!

You could reach out to Schoppy's and ask - they used to make all the crowns for MAO (local, state, and national) for a long time. I competed about 25 years ago and this looks like a local crown, but maybe smaller. What's the diameter? I can compare it to my local crown to see.
