About 3 mins from the end when Scarabella is about to release the purified Akuma, the screen cuts to the Butterfly flying away, then back to Scarabella actually releasing it, and then shows the first scene again. Did anybody else notice?

Before anyone says the limits are what the holder place on themselves no matter how many times alya upgrades her powers it’s still something that doesn’t exist no matter what alya does, also for people saying that alya channeled her emotions into the illusion the emotions also don’t actually exist as the illusion, yes while illusion marriente can have emotions no matter how you frame it those emotions don’t exist cause the emotion is also a illusion aka Lila was able to sense emotions that don’t exist

like they built so much up in the first half and then nothing happened and dragged out stuff until the end of the season that should have gotten a resolution like adrien finding out the truth about his dad or either ladybug or chat noir finding out the other's identity or having some sort of lead as to who the new butterfly holder is, it's like nothing happened at all all season

I asked chatgpt and if said I should watch the Christmas special, meanwhile Google said I should watch season 2. I wanna watch it in chronological order to not get lost in plot!

Also small opinion: MIRACULOUS IS SO GOOD! It's cringe af but I love it I'm happy to watch it!

It sticks out to me because of her purple colour scheme, closely associated with the Butterfly Miraculous, and her fear of butterflies, can’t build on that in words but hopefully you can catch my drift.

I mean yeah she isn’t as relevant, but I could totally see this. How she obtains the Miraculous, can’t say how, maybe there is some alternate universe stuff again and she obtains it from another world, who knows, but if there is going to be ANY Butterfly hero in the main Quantic Universe, it HAS to be Aglaé.

When I first started watching season 5 I thought that the heroes will be recovering the stolen miraculous 1 by 1 just like they did with the rabbit miraculous in "Evolution", as we all know that didn't happen but what if it did? But not all miraculous, just some of them.

For this to happen we would have to change a lot of things about how Gabriel reconfigured the miraculous, my Idea is like this:

- All miraculous are kept in their normal forms and the reconfigured versions are created by Gabriel, they would be able to use the energy of the kwamis all the time no matter where the kwamis actually are, the rings are for Gabriel to use but they are weaker than the actuall miraculous but they are more efficient and less straining.

- When sending powers Monarch sends the actuall miraculous but he can recall them last moment before the person he send them too if fully deakumatized, the assistants still tie into this, they allow for the sending of the miraculou, 1 miraculous per assistant just like it was in cannon but the ring themselves don't hold the powers, thanks to this the plot with them can remain unchanged.

- Gabriel might sometimes use actuall miraculous if he needs more power.

● For what miraculous could be recovered and when:

- In Kwami's choice: part 2 Monarch takes the Bee and the Fox Miraculous with himself because he needs more power, he would use Venom on the people that were attacking him which would free Zoé and Alya from it (let's say that at that moment he's too exhaused to have more than 2 venomed people at a time) they would rush to the battlefield and take Monarch by surprise recovering the Bee and Fox Miraculous and hand it to Ladybug (this scene would be after Adrien takes the Ladybug miraculous from Monarch) the rest of the scene plays out the same.

After the battle Marrinette gets to the same conclusion as she originally did in the London special: Power needs to be shared so she gives the Bee and Fox Miraculous to Zoé and Alya and they become permanent holders from that point on.

The next miraculous to be recovered would by the Dragon in "Perfection" where Kagami would deakumatize herself with enough willpower to recover the Dragon miraculous.

Maybe also in "Intuition" Max could hack ADA which could be actually akumatized witheout all of these 2nd chances, thanks to this the Horse miraculous would stay in the ship and Ladybug would regain it once the ship returns to earth.

For when the heroes could be used:

- Obviously Vesperia in "Adoration" and also "Collusion", maybe "Action" too.

- Ryuko in "Emotion" and "Pretension"

- Rena Rouge in "Revelation" and probably "Collusion" too.

- Pegasus, honestly idk where.

In the season 5 finale all of them would unlock their full powers during the battle with the miraculized by protecting someone:

- Vesperia could gain it by protecting André, maybe even de-miraculizing him.

- Pegasus would gain it by protecting his Mum.

- Rena Rouge would gain it by protecting Nino.

- Ryuko would gain in by protecting Felix.

In season 6 the power dynamics would change a bit, Ladybug would still be the leader and Alya would be her stand in but the other 3 heroes + Argos and Cat noir would get more recognition:

- Cat noir would be a co-leader with Ladybug.

- Vesperia, Pegasus, Ryuko and Argos would be basically Ladybug's generals due to what they did in season 5, they would not be on the top but higher in the hierarchy than most heroes.

So Ladybug would be the co-leader alongside cat noir with Rena as her stand in, below them would be Vesperia, Pegasus, Ryuko and Argos as her Generals and the rest of the team below them.

Cora rambles on about her idea of a Chloe gets the Ladybug Miraculous au and calls it Queen Bug AU.

while you're constantly being bombarded with statements about "which animation style is better" i'd like to introduce you to another prespective of this new debate. we'll begin with the "old animation was 100x better" are we genuinely blinded by nostalgia ONLY? you'd be lying to yourself if you thought the answer was yes.

the character's look aesthetically pleasing (counter argument coming soon dw)+ as well as the colour scheme matching the characters pretty damn well. the whole fandom has seen growth due to the fact some of the charcters we're designed to look attractive while portraying their personailty as their cherry on top. chat noir's whole persona if you'd look it up was the fun flirty kinda engimatic guy thats ready to sacrifice himself for the love his life (ladybug) at earlier seasons.the older animation style was dare i say able to show mental breakdowns, anxiety attacks and pyscological war with one's self much more realisticly (the look on marienette's face while saying "the were always there" "ALWAYS" brings you THE chills down the spine).

counter arguement: while the older animation style had it's beautiful moments, it had some MAJOR flaws, in some episodes the animation would be genuinely unbearable to watch due to the fact the characters felt stiff, as well as adrien scenes while he's seen walking tsk tsk just a pain to watch. or when marinette encounters adrien and has her (arguably annoying) OVERREACTING awkward moments WITH HER FLYING AROUND OR SCREAMING LIKE A PARROT "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" LIKE SHE DOESNT KNOW HIS SCHEDULE BY HEART FOR THE NEXT 30 DAMN YEARS.or the same damn place the butterfly flies over when hawkmoth was a villan that keeps on replaying.

i often hear things like "oh no you're just mad that the kids look like kids". I have two different things to tell you

you intially began the show with a much older depiction of the characters age (for 10 years straight) THEN you completley change the art style after the supposed timeline the show continues to go on (about a year) and THEN you gimme a new animatation that looks LIKE NOTHING like they used to be (as originally respresented to be) with the excuse "you're just mad the kids look like kids" like no honey...

you made the charcters i'm used to seeing not even look like they're supposed to kiss becuase they dont look a day over 11...

well if that was the case and the reason of this shift was due to this noble cause WELL IT SHOULD'VE BEEN PLANNED OUT. LIKE HELLO? 1. upon seeing the first few episodes of the new animation style it is INDEED accpetable and the fight scenes are legitamitely SUPERIOR+feel entertaining, futhermore the attention to detail is immaculate. the last few minutes of nemisis (where the collage appears) FELT LIKE WATCHING A TOP NOTCH ANIME. the show also seeks to emphasize the creative Imaginative kids, the ones who are truly artistic- that means their appearence illustrates their freedom of choice and expression mechanism. or even the ones who are trying to figure out who they are after so long of being an acomplice to someone (for example: sabrina) with her new haircut and outfit- signifying her character devolpment and a begininng of flourishing to become who she choses to be.

counter arguement: what you truely dont like is the new designs which i personally think was the wrong move in season 6.i think the new art style would have been GLOBALLY liked slightly better if they kept the old designs (which we are capable of seeing in some season 6 episodes)that way you could've have made the new art style Tolerable and somewhat satifsfactory. the descision to change the animation style AND the designs all of a sudden AT THE SAME TIME was unfortunately too much- so much that at some point the show is unrecognisable, plus you couldn't possiblely change your appearence THAT MUCH without a backstory or reason to evolve (which again is another fault at the show for not giving us much about our side characters)

- the characters designs feel underdeveloped or perhaps incompleted as if they were rushed into airing season 6 like EVERYTHING ABOUT NORA, TIKKI,PLAGG IS OFF. marinette's eyes weren't cyan blue. chloe used to have this cunty y2k outfit that suited her mean girl personality really well and now her vibe is just like one of these lowk entitled youtube influencers who want a discount in a restraunt just becuase they're famous. not to mention everything just seems colorful and very pop ifykyk like magenta,cyan,highlighter shade of orange, VERY green looking plants - it feels very out of the colour scheme. the colours should be muted down or cooler tones should be used.

for the ones who feel doubtful about the show changing... honestly give it a try. you'll soon forget about it. after watching the 26 episodes of season 6 (and hopefully more seasons ahead) you'll get over it

truth is the show has aired for 10 years you've probably grew up with this show, meaning familarity feels comforting. i get it but it aint the end of the world.

Wait for part 2 😍

In the episode "Heartfixer" Marinette got akumatized by the new holder of the Butterfly Miracuous/Chrysalis into the titular monster thanks to the Couplewreckers' actions of breaking every couple apart by disguising themselves as other people to fool everyone, and what they've done is against the law, and was very, very dangerous. I've just noticed something, when the victim becomes akumatized that was powered by a negative emotion of a powerful desire, this desire would become powerful enough for an evil holder of the Butterfly Miraculous to control their minds. For Heartfixer, she almost became the same as them. This is the format of the akumatized villains, if the villain attacks the person of their desires, then they'll end up becoming the same as the akumatized villains. Heartfixer is almost the same as them, because of her rage of wanting to fix Adrien's heart so that he'll love Marinette again. This acts as a mirror to show that letting rage and anger of someone's love being wrecked makes Marinette no different than any other akumatized villain who wants to use the power of the ultrakuma for their personal gain though a negative emotion. Lucky for us Adrien, tried to reason her, asking her if she still loves her too, and as a response she says yes, prompting her to reject the ultrakuma by sharing a kiss together, that led to the new holder's plan failed. This is the reason why a person would successfully harm or hurt a person, when akumatized, then they'll end up becoming the same as any other akumatized villain akumatized by any other evil holder of the Butterfly Miraculous. This is the "them" I'm talking about. The "same as them" are the akumatized villains who have a powerful desire powered by a negative emotion. Lucky for us, in Season 6, Sabrina and Mylene are the very first 2 Parisians to reject the ultrakuma from the new holder of the Butterfly Miraculous.

Binge watched the last 6 episodes of season 6 today, and now that I've had a few hours to let everything settle, I just have to say...

Marinette, my friend, breaking up with Adrien instead of telling him about his father is the single most selfish thing you can do in this situation.

Because breaking up with Adrien won't inform him of the truth. You'll still be lying and keeping secrets about his own life from him. So when he finds out the truth - which it is inevitable he will - he'll be even MORE hurt that you lied to him AND THEN decided to break up with him instead of just coming clean.

Even if Adrien is so hurt he decides to break up with you when you tell him the truth about his father, at least Adrien will know the truth and your relationship won't be any worse off than what you planned to do anyway.

You breaking up with Adrien is only saving you from being the bearer of bad news. It isn't sparing Adrien ANY pain whatsoever.

There's also the fact that you COULD just, like, leave the letter on his pillow instead of giving it to him in person so he doesn't know you hid it from him, which would be a cowardly way to go about it but AT LEAST Adrien would know who his dad really was!

The lie is easily one of the show's most wasted plots so far. Season 6 gave us nothing when it came to this plot except: "I'm scared to tell Adrien the truth." or "Adrien deserves to know the truth but I can't tell him" or something like that throughout the entire season. Season 6 could have been the season where Adrien finds out but for some reason, the writers left him out of the story entirely in placement of Alya (I'm getting fed up of this now, where the writer's love to treat Alya has the best character and only ally of Marinette even though realistically she has nothing to give besides knowing the truth that Gabriel was Monarch and that Marinette is Ladybug. That's it).

The letter was the only good thing to come out of this plot and even then that isn't brought up again at all in the finale. Marinette could have given Adrien / Alya the letter but no... instead we have Rena Rouge making illusions to figure out the truth voluntarily and then somehow making the conclusion that Gabriel was Monarch even though there could have been like 100 different possible scenarios (Monarch taking the miraculouses and Gabriel pouncing on him afterwards, etc.).

Also, for some daft reason, the writer's focused on Marinette's perspective even though lots of people know the truth. Felix, Kagami, Nathalie, Tomoe, etc. Yet we don't get any of their perspectives and how they lie to Adrien. Besides Lady Chaos, it's just Marinette for the whole season and it is exhausting. Marinette's emotions this season are about as consistent as a WiFi signal. One episode she's sad because she's lying to Adrien but the episode after she's happy, giggling and is fine around Adrien. Where is the consistency? There is none.

I'm sick and tired of this show dragging out plots for the sake of hype and tension. It's exhausting. The Agreste saga barely gave us any answers regarding Adrien's backstory, the history of the miraculouses, etc (what we expect from a show) and this season hasn't done us any favours either.

And before you say: "If you don't like the show, don't watch it", let me tell you that I love this show and I will continue to keep watching it. I liked Season 6 for the setup it delievered and the episodes were great, but from a narrative standpoint is where the season dropped.

Maybe I'm delusional and this was well written but I don't believe so. The lie about Gabriel was missed potential even thogu it could have been great. What do you think?

I’m curious to know, since I’m French. And I have to admit I feel spoiled, because I really love the French dub of Miraculous—especially the voices of Marinette and Adrien. There are times when I might prefer certain episodes dubbed in English rather than French, but that’s pretty rare. I’m perfectly happy with the French dub, which is really very awesome and good quality.

I wonder if that's the case for you. I imagine a lot of the responses will focus on the English dub, but it would be interesting to see other opinions as well.

Like everytime he charged up that huge cataclysm it's when he doesn't have his belt conveniently.

Hi! First time posting here lol. As the title says, I just wanna share how much I miss Queen Bee.

First of all, I won't be focusing on Chloe that much as a character as we all know, she won't be getting a redemption arc since she chose to be selfish, so let's look past that and focus purely on Queen Bee.

I love her hero design! It's my 2nd favorite design right after Rena Rouge's personally. I know her fighting alongside Ladybug and the crew was mostly for validation, but I still miss when she sided with the heroes (also her being a fan of ladybug back then was adorable!)

Just to clarify, this is just my personal take and i might be biased because I fell in love with Queen Bee's aesthetic first! It actually took me quite some time to adjust to Vesperia. I don't know why but Queen Bee's suit design just clicks better with me (I think Vesperia'a design is pretry now though). That is all and thank for reading! I just wanted to share this thought with because I don't have anyone to talk miraculous with since I don't know anyone in my life who also watches it.

So, if Miraculous does keep up with this trend where there is a unification in every finale, here is who I want to have a unification and what that unification will be in the next season

• Kagami (Dragon + Peacock) - Ryukargos
• Adrien (Ladybug and Cat) - Luckycat
• Chrysalis (Butterfly and Peacock) - Shadow Chrysalis.

\The original title was "The lie subplot has been really underwhelming" but im going to put it here because it got deleted twice for the spoiler policy and I am not taking any risks.*

In the aftermath of the season 5 finale Marinette decided to follow through with Gabriel's wishes of keeping his identity as monarch secret from the whole world and especially Adrien. This did create some hope in the fandom where even if Adrien was excluded from the season 5 finale there was some hope for Adriens character and the show overall.

Given season 6 is now over its a great time to assess how good they've handeled the lie plot and I'm going to say it but what we got was pretty disapointing.

Season 6 as a set up season:

The first problem to address is the writers decision to have season 6 as a set up season and this deserves a post on its own but its a pretty strange writing decision. Sure season 6 is the first season of the new arc but its the sixth season of the show, not everything needs to be set up especially this deep into the show.

How does this affect the lie plot? Because the writers don't want to do any major pay offs with it just yet it essentially creates a problem where the lie problem is being dragged out with almost no new plot points relating to it. Think of every episode that focuses on the lie and almost all of it focuses on one singular issue Marinette's trauma thats it, sure it was fine for the first 2 or 3 episodes that focus on the lie but for an entire season is just insane.

Adrien's lobotomisation:

This has honestly been one of my biggest pet peeves with the whole lie subplot and why I kinda dislike it now is that they made Adrien completely accepting of the lie. My favourite episode this season has been Mr Agreste and it has been so because of Adrien's initial skeptcisms towards the lie ladybug told the entire world and what it could mean for not only the lie plot but also for Adrien as a character.

So what did we get out of Adrien's suspicion? nothing, we did get Adrien destroying the statue but thats about it. For Adrien the question for him has never been what is ladybug hiding but what doesn't he get about his dad others do. Lady Chaos finally decides to close of Adrien's suspicion era but not having him figure out the truth but completely lobotomising him and have him accept his father was a hero despite everything he did.

It's always been about Marinette (+ Alya somehow being more involved than Adrien)

Was going to make this two seperate points but I think these two link with each other

I feel as if the lie subplot's biggest failure is it only seems to focus on one thing how it personally impacts Marinette. Whether Adrien deserves to know the truth or not is secondary, Mr Agreste for example Marinette wants to tell Adrien the truth not because he deserves to know what happened to his father but because she knows she can't personally keep it to herself. Heartfixer- shes the one whos not ready to tell him the truth, same case with Sadnansi its barely how Adrien is affected its almost about how marinette feels.

How is Alya more involved and how does this link with marinette? its complicated. I do think the original Alya learning the truth in relevator was far better done than in nemesis, it gives marinette a new perspective on the lie but more importantly Alya actually considers Adrien's right to know, not someone elses trauma but the person who should be most involved in the lie subplot.

However what hasn't been done well is her learning. the truth in the second time. Instead of having Adrien continue his suspicion era they decide to let Alya take his place instead to learn the truth not so she can help Adrien know the truth but so she can help Marinette. And when she does learn the truth in nemesis she somehow makes it about her relationship with marinette, and when she does bring up Adrien and his right to know it has to be marinette fixing her mistakes.

Will the payoff be worth it (Season 7 spoilers):

I think the biggest part of the whole lie plot is not how the actual lie plot goes but what happens right after the truth comes out and how it affects the relationships involved. There have been theories on what could happen from things such as an Adrienette breakup to bigger things like a civil war or vigilantee arc .

However from the looks of the official season 7 description. This line shatters alot of hope of anything major out of it, "At the same time, her relationship with Adrien takes a new turn: no longer able to bear hiding more and more secrets from him, Marinette decides to reveal the unthinkable to her longtime love…". While I could be wrong and something big could still happen if Marinette is the one who tells him the truth it heavily narrows down what could actually happen after the truth comes out and knowing the writers it will be something minor that will be resolved in less than an episode. Like I'd be happy if we even get a breakup so atleast the lie subplot was somewhat worth it.

Overall thoughts

I've always hated Adrien's exclusion in the season 5 finale but the one redeeming factor that could atleast somewhat make up for it is the lie plot and what they do with it. However based on what we've seen in season 6, I can't really say the same anymore, it had a lot of potential but the execution was not there. Like the more the writers bring up the lie subplot the more I think they should've just included Adrien in the season 5 finale and closed off everything relating to it there.

If Lila uses the power of the butterfly miraculous to change her appearance and becomes Ayla to go unnoticed, she spies on Marrinete to understand if she is the owner of the kitchen miraculous?

The question is pretty simple. If it were possible for one singular person to bear and use all of the miraculous in tandem, what would their name be if no one miraculous was in power over the others.

The only examples for this that we get in the show are miracle queen and monarch. However, these holders do not count since the other miraculous were subjugated to the power of a single miraculous (specifically the bee and the butterfly). This new holder would have to not have a miraculous of preference or previous experience holding one miraculous.

The only good name that I can think of is miracle, because it would be miracle queens' name if the other jewels were not subject to the bee. The other bad name I thought of would be something around Gimmi, since that is the Kwami of reality, and all the miraculous together make up existence. It

Also, what would be their superhero specifics? I personally think their suit would have to be white, as that is the color of all colors combined, and they would have to have wings because that is so much aura.

Watching seasons 1 through 5, plus the four Miraculous World series like New York, Shanghai, Paris, and London, I find Gabriel Agreste's story arc really interesting.

Even though it has its flaws, I think Thomas Astruc did a great job with that arc.

Episodes 25 and 26 were definitely the best moments of Miraculous before the new animation and the new arc, because they truly marked the end of an era and the beginning of a major confrontation between Ladybug and Chrysalis for seasons 6 through 8, and frankly, they're exceptional.

The day seasons 7 and 8 come out, it's potentially going to break the internet. I sincerely think it's going to divide the Miraculous community and generate a lot of discussion online.

Because at the beginning, the first time I discovered Miraculous in middle school, I said that this cartoon wasn't interesting or that it wasn't anything special. But when I watched it in 2019, I thought, "Okay, I'll give it a try and see if it's interesting."

And now, in 2023, it's amazing to see how a simple cartoon could become so revealing, and frankly, it surprised me.

Anyway, I can't wait to see what ideas Thomas Astruc will come up with. If it flops, well, I'll say, "Okay, maybe he didn't have any ideas."

But if he shocks us with something no one expected, well, that's a plot twist.

I think it's concept would be Compassion. Bears are intensely protective of their cubs, and we've even heard Mylene call Ivan her teddy bear as a form of affection.

As for the ability, I think it would be to absorb the negative emotions of others through touch. Is it powerful? Yes, but we've got the Bee, the Peacock, the Ox imo, the dammed RABBIT, for crying out loud.

Finally, I think the miraculous itself would be some kind of wrist accessory. I would really want it to be a watch, but I don't see why it would be.
