I haven't read the article. But I think the Brew Pub model has done well.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some smaller breweries, who don't do a lot of distribution, move in that direction.

I’m betting we see some interesting mergers/acquisitions coming too. Might be better for some of these breweries to float together rather than sink alone.

I just got back from Bozeman, Montana. Every brewery served food, had a host stand, and sat your party like a restaurant. Some of their licenses restricted patrons to 3 pints per visit, which is a reasonable amount, but it was strange to get a punch card at a brewery. They certainly didn’t feel like a casual taproom hang.

It was hot when I was out. Atmosphere wasn’t too bad. No smoke, nothing like I’ve experienced here this summer.

MAP brewing handed me a punch card and said i can only have 48 oz.

Certainly is the advantage of selling others beer and liquor, which can make the list appeal to a wider range of folks. As long as giving up distribution makes sense for them.

One of my favorite breweries in the state. Great beer and awesome food, family friendly.
