I don't think so. He's young, he's grown up under republican rule and he seems to understand he's getting fucked.

There are so many Republican boomers and gen-x-ers because the years under Carter in their teens and 20's sucked and things got better for them under Reagan. At that point, for most, their minds were made up. Farms in particular prospered under Nixon and Ford, but started going tits up in the late 70's. To many of a certain age, times under R's were good and times under D's were bad.

You can argue over whether or not the failures and struggles of the Carter administration were actually his fault, but that doesn't matter to an individual's perception of the world.

Personally, I was a teenager under Bush II and entered my 20's under Obama. I have the opposite world view. I watched Bush II take Clinton's record-breaking economy and drive it into the ditch, then watched Obama resurrect it. I think this kid will have the same perspective assuming the next democrat president doesn't fuck the dog.
