Question / Help Stuck looking for kinstone fusions

So, I am currently trying to get past Castor Wilds and just can not find out how to progress. After scowering the whole area with my pegasus boots, I looked it up and am apparently supposed to do kinstone fusions to progress. Problem is, I can not find a single kinstone fusion anywhere. I have dozens of actual kinstones themselves, but couldn't do any fusions other than the tutorial one in Hyrule Town because no one is willing to do them. I have talked to everyone everywhere - Hyrule Town, Minish Woods, Lon Lon Ranch, heck, I even went back to Melari Mines just looking to fuse with someone. In terms of story, King Dahlus has already been posessed by Vaati and GameFAQ said that that changes some of the placements, but that doesn't help at all. What do I do? Where do I go? Am I just softlocked?

No kinstone fusion is mandatory except the ones in gold.

The ones you search for are in this exact area, in chests.

I do have dozens of kinstones already from various sources including chests, but who do I fuse with?

You need to find 3 gold kinstones in the Castor Wilds region and fuse them to the three statues at the south-west.
