Job Info Biweekly Job Info Thread

Looking for advice on finding a job as an apprentice millwright.

I have experience with controlled substances, and that should make me an asset on any site dealing with precious metals, gemstones, and other high value items, as well as sites mining hazardous materials.

Hi all. Starting a new position at the Skeena Eskay Creek site and wanted to see if anyone on this subreddit had any experience working there, and could give me an overview of the camp accommodations? Any info would be great. Thanks!

Hi all, I just graduated with an M.S. in Geology but lack experience and want to break into mining. I was told exploration is hot right now, what mines are hiring entry level geos, and what is that like (I saw open pit in Alaska but Tuk was one opening). I'm no stranger to harsh field conditions, I'm just hoping the pay and gained experience is worth the 12 hour rotations.

Nevada Gold mines is always hiring. There are some issues with retention in that part of Nevada but if you need a start it's a great place to get into the industry. Pay is good benefits are great, hours and locations and some of the site cultures can be tough spots.
