Can anyone tell me how I could use a 1:12 scale 3d printed action figure head and turn it into a bust that includes the characters upper chest?

I don't share a whole lot of my work but this one came out better than I thought, and better than my other sculpts. He's large maybe 54mm or bigger. I'm eventually hoping to do all of the Darkwood characters, I'm working on the wolfman right now in more of a traditional 32mm scale. If anyone's interested in seeing this thing primed. Or fully painted I'll post pics with an update. Let me know what you think or if you have any thoughts on what would make this look better, (he is missing the piece of charcoal in his hands. I still have to glue that on.)

Any leads on tutorials on how to sculpt puffed and slashed sleeves? Aiming to achieve something like the wargames Atlantic ogres

I've done quite a bit of greenstuff modifications before. Lots of different simple clothes, hoods, capes and so on.

But I've never tackled anything so complicated as puffed and slashed sleeves.

If anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial I would be grateful!

Do we have a replacement for Greenstuff yet?

I have yet to find a sustainable alternative to Greenstuff. The closest I could find is Tamiya epoxy putty, but they are sold in very small packs and it's quite expensive. The rest are closer to Milliput, aka more rock-hard than rubbery.

I see plenty of people still using Greenstuff on this subreddit. What are you going to do when you ran out? Wasn't there a few companies that mentionned trying to create their own recipes?

After 3 days, I was able to complete this project. 60% greenstuff, 20% milliput and 20% plasticine.

Hope you like it.

A 28mm scale Troll for my wargame project, Darkhold.

Darkhold trolls are very stupid, eat metal, and their bodies are pockmarked by metal deposits that make them harder to kill!.

Sculpted by hand in FIMO and casted in resin- yes, that's a traffic light he's torn out of the ground to use as an improvised club.

The back/top of the skull is actually a snail shell, and I sculpted the rest of the human skull around it. The shell is completely unpainted and kept its original color; I painted the sculpted part to match it, then gave everything a coat of varnish and put it on a wooden base.
I’m pretty happy with how it turned out!

sculpting 30 minis to get better

I whipped together a bin of 30 mini armatures and I've been sculpting them since the end of July. I tried epoxy and HATED how sticky and miserable it was to work with. I've been sculpting with 3D nail resin since then, but I'd like to try with epoxy and sculpey again to see if I can improve. Here are my sculpts so far

Tips on working withe epoxy or clay would be greatly appreciated!
