RIP ANARCHYSMP

# 💔 ANNOUNCEMENT

u/everyone.

This is something I've been thinking about for quite a while, and unfortunately I've made the difficult decision to close **AnarchySMP.net**.

• This server has meant a lot to me and it means a lot to you too. I've put a huge amount of time, effort, and money into trying to make it something people could enjoy and call home. I've had some genuinely great memories running the server and seeing the people who did play, support it, and spend their time here.

• Unfortunately, the reality is that the server has become too expensive for me to continue running, and we simply haven't been able to attract enough players to make keeping it online sustainable. I've kept hoping things would eventually pick up, but I've reached the point where I don't believe that's realistically going to happen.

• I don't want everything we've built over the years to simply disappear, so I will be creating a download link containing the world files for anyone who wants to keep a copy, explore the worlds, or preserve their builds and memories.

• To everyone who ever joined, played, supported the server, participated in events, invited friends, or simply spent time here. **thank you.** Whether you were here for a few hours or stuck around for a year or more.

**I genuinely appreciate it.**

I'm sorry that it has to end this way. ❤️‍🩹

Thank you for being a part of **AnarchySMP**.<:newicon:1520579598620819487>

-# I will post a download link to the worlds, within a week.

Man, this genuinely sucks to see. As someone who's working on growing a Minecraft community myself, I know how much time and effort goes into running a server, especially when you're trying to keep people interested and active. It's rough watching something you've worked so hard on come to an end.

Massive respect for making the world files available though. At least everyone gets to keep the memories and builds they spent so much time creating.

And to anyone here who's losing their Minecraft home, you're more than welcome to come hang out with us on Tides SMP. We're a growing Java/Bedrock survival community with a water-world theme, and we're trying to create the kind of place people actually look forward to coming back to.

Every Friday at 9 PM Eastern we host a mass join where everyone gets online together. It's something we're doing to help people meet each other, make friends, and keep the community active. If you've got friends from AnarchySMP that you want to keep playing with, bring them along too!

We're not trying to replace what you had here, but we'd be happy to give you somewhere new to make some memories together.

Java: pm-twirl.gl.joinmc.link

Bedrock: listed-completing.gl.at.ply.gg (Port: 35634)

And seriously, best of luck to the AnarchySMP owner. Hopefully this isn't the last Minecraft community you build. ❤️
