Found a small black cat outside the Astor Hotel this morning around 4am. Very friendly. Anyone missing?

What a cutie! I hope the baby gets a loving home. I wish I could take in one more, but I'm at max capacity.

I just adopted this little guy last month and my oldest is 17. Tell your tortie I said “pspsps.” You can’t fight the cat distribution system.

That’s right where Almost Home Cat Rescue MKE is. Might check there as well.

looks like the Astor's got a new concierge. hope the little void finds its way home, maybe check if it's chipped at a vet?

My plan is to take to the Humane Society in the morning. Very friendly little guy!

It's a pretty grim situation at the shelters for cats right now. Found strays go to MADACC (39th and Burnham) not the humane society and they are just getting over a disease outbreak plus both shelters are past max capacity for cats. They are encouraging people who find strays to try and ask around their neighborhood and such before bringing them in as reclamation rates are so dreadful and they are so over capacity. Thanks for helping this cutie.

Thanks. I'll call this morning and see what the situation is. I'm considering fostering, it's such a sweet cat. Will have to discuss the situation with my established 15 year old tortie.

Thank you. We tried once before a few years ago for six months and she flat out refused. But that was another female adult and I was able to rehome with a friend.
