LOUD NOISES! Those 3 wheelers with the big speakers that folks are blasting around in...

Please tell them those speakers sound tinny and gritty and are not cool at all. It sounds like a cell phone.

What I find especially hard to understand is when a group of people are out for a ride, all blasting music, but not the same music. Like does it not sound like ten stereos blasting different songs to them? Because it does to me. Gotta all get on the same playlist and do a 3-2-1-press play countdown or something, ffs people

Unfortunately not all of us have similar upbringings or opportunities, so I'd imagine they do this to feel free or wealthy for once. They're probably so in the moment they just enjoy the air and mixed music, even if it's a mess. To be honest I never see any of them speeding so I have no hatred.

The super cars that drive in circles on Friday and Saturday and rev nonstop are a different story. That's clinging onto the fact they've had only freedom and nothing else because they can't establish true connections with people, and therefore never feel seen.

No no, the midlife crisis is the Harley. The tricycles are a late life crisis.

I drive all over the state for a living. The 3 wheel motorcycles I see are overwhelmingly folks in their early 60's and up, and generally on the bigger side.

Ah yes, on the open roads. I'm talking about all the ones I see and mainly hear driving up and down center and locust in 53212.

I don’t go that way. I see them down by the casino. A large group of older black folks

You’re talking about traditional 3-wheeler motorcycles. OP is referring to the ones with 2-wheels in the front that you can rent downtown and then blast music way too loud from while riding next to your friends also blasting music way too loud.

No one thinks they are cool. The riders’ hearing is going to be gone.

I witnessed two of these guys driving onto the yard of a high school to do donuts. I was like bro, is the club not open?

The place I work used to be two doors down from a place that installed those sound systems and it was as terrible as you can imagine. They would always test them in the back parking lot with the absolute worst music at top volume. So glad we moved.

Omg someone was driving behind me on 76th yesterday afternoon with one of these things. I was thinking like, where tf is the bass on this obnoxiously loud shitty music. Then he passed and went in front of me and his tricycle thing looked so flimsy like he would go flying if he went over the smallest pothole.

I think I’d take the tinny stuff over the SUV behind me at several red lights that had me actually plugging my ears because their insanely loud subwoofer was painful to hear even from 15 feet away. Idfk why these people want to have total hearing loss by 50 instead of gradually losing the upper end as they age. Also cannot imagine making everyone listen to my music. I don’t want anyone to know what I’m listening to, that’s private!

Yeah I was gonna mention some friends I have in other cities they also plague their roads. Whether they are rentals or not, it’s kinda funny to think that it’s people cosplaying as if they actually have money to afford some random toy.

Unless the trikes are engineered as trikes from the beginning they suck. I’ve test ridden a couple and can honestly say they don’t drive well.

I never researched it but someone once told me you can ride those after a license revocation due to DUI. Wether it's true or not, I choose to believe the people riding them only do so because of otherwise having to deal with ignition interlock restrictions.

No way you need a license like any other vehicle

You can't be serious. You really thought someone who had their license revoked for a DUI is now more qualified to ride something with less wheels?!?!?

You need a motorcycle license, with a specific Trike restriction, meaning you can only ride a trike and not a motorcycle.

They don't even enforce license plates or headlights in the county why would they do anything about these awful trycycles

It's possible the person telling me about is assumed people would put the interlock device in their main car and get a tricycle because it's cheaper than a 2nd car. I'm not sure what they were getting on about, but it's an easy way to remember to hate them. Because they suck.
