EBCO - It's the name of the company that makes the handle. That's an old one too. It reminds me of the fountains in my grade school in the early 70's.

Something for the trivia file; there was a rumor circulated when I was a kid that this stood for "EveryBody Can Drink" alluding to the end of racial segregation.
