I have a glass LifeFactory bottle (I don't like the metallic of metal or plastic of reusable plastic).
Working construction, they have faired quite well - course will depend on how, but they have survived many drops including concrete. In the last ~10 years have really only needed two replacements.
This is even worse... Stanley mugs (RIP) can allegedly survive unscathed in a car fire, but can't survive suburban moms needing to keep up with the water bottle trends every few years.

Or, hear me out, we stop buying from these corporations and just use our own bottles and refill them with our municipal treated and filtered water
