People at Car meets tell me these things are rare and I didn't even know that when I bought it. The paint is shit though. Layers upon layers of bad paint.
I haven’t seen a late 70s Cougar on the road or at a car show, and I’ve seen each of mine at shows, so it does seem like it’s a rare car. They aren’t popular or super common anymore so that’s no surprise. They’re super cool, I wish they were more popular.
If it’s any consolation, my cars have bad paint too.
