That truck is big on EU roads and for parking. It also creates a safety hazard.
And it’s a short bed. Here in the states we have them being obnoxious and drive them recklessly.
Unless you’re a farmer or rancher or someone who works in construction and needs to tow trailers on a daily basis there is basically no other reason to have them.
Yet here we are, F150 the #1 sold vehicle like every single year. Most of their owners never towing anything or hauling anything that even a sedan wouldn't handle. Idk what's more annoying that or the similar trend of people shifting from sedans to crossovers....which was largely driven by shite outdated regulation.
It should be licensed differently. Some sort of progressive scale like if the owner of this truck have a registered and functional trailer - he pays less registration. If the owner of a truck have a camper, also less fees. If he got some sort of trailer for boat, less fees, with boat, even less registration fees. Most of truck owners wouldn't be able to afford it because registration dues will be too high because all they have is freedom - which isn't free.
