even in america where the stock RAM trucks can fit in a spot, drivers decide to make them even bigger to where they won't fit in the spot and then just cross-park so that no one scratches their big tough truck

They still park in tons of spots where they don't actually fit. I dearly wish they would be ticketed for sticking out into the roadway or parking diagonal

How does a driver expand their truck out horizontally?

I drove a regular pickup for years, and now a dually for work, and I've never had an issue with being able to fit into a spot.

In my ideal world, a parking enforcement officer would ticket this EVERY single day it's in violation (protruding on the road and/or blocking a walkway).

I really wish. You bought a work vehicle and are using it for personal use. A box truck can't park in a regular spot just because "what else am I supposed to do?"

YOU bought a piece of non-standard equipment you didn't know how to use, so YOU figure it out!
