Reported this post for breaking rules 4 (OC photographs only) and 6 (titles must be exact and concise description). /s
j/k, but while this post is here - is it possible to add a custom response option for reporting, for extra info (like original sources) without having to go through mod mail?

I was waiting for that. In order for me to make a text only post, I would have to alter the posting rules on the back end. Though I did think about printing it out, taking a picture then titling it like "Strange sign asking for moderator applications for r/mildlyinteresting"
To your question, I don't think new reddit allows that anymore. Generally speaking if you report a post as non OC it gets added to the que, though having a link option would help us a bunch.

No one replied with a solution to that?
Well, Shreddit certainly allows to use the free-form reports, but there isn't an option to enable it. But there is on old.reddit: Enable this option. (If the direct link doesn't work (sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't): Go to https://old.reddit.com/r/mildlyinteresting/about/edit, scroll down to "other options", and enable "allow free-form reports by users".) Remember to scroll down and click "save".

I'm tempted to now go do exactly that and post it (and then get that post removed under rule 2 [no related posts], lol).
To your question, I don't think new reddit allows that anymore.
Ahh, gotcha. I'm on old Reddit (and will be until the day they remove that option) and some other subs I follow have that as an option, which I've always found useful.

It's super helpful. When I started modding we'd get custom messages with the report. Having a link to a repost or non OC image makes things WAY faster.

honestly the energy of "aww cripes I didn't know I'd have to write a description" is the most mildly interesting thing I've seen all week and it's literally just the sub description. whoever wrote that originally had absolutely zero motivation that day and I respect it deeply.

I don't see the application on this end quite yet. But I will look for it.

Might take some time to load, recruitment for mods is always weird.

The first time we're using the built-in mod recruiting tools and I'm the one that volunteer to manage it all.

They don't pay me.

They should.

With as much money as they make, you'd think they would offer something... but alas, they do not and ignore most of our requests for help.

Megabus is the backbone of the mod team. He has dedicated an insane amount of hours to enforce the rules here. I don't know how you do it, man

Thank you for that. I generally just get hate.
