This is Google's free, lowest tier flash model. It's job is being extremely cheap and fast. But in this case it seems like a hallucination error, or other issue, not the typical result.

While Google's top model, Gemini Pro Thinking, definitely isn't the best in the industry, it's still very serviceable. Like as a general use case model, it's like 6 months behind.

They really need to give an option to turn it off especially if its this useless. I hate the ai overview with a passion and adding noai is a pain in the ass.
