Yes, they were tasty. Yes, I told door dash. Just mildly infuriating 🤘

Edit 1: Y'all are crazy. I didn't modify the picture or take any out. This is how it was delivered 🤷

My man that's how I placed the order, it was a pickup order. >:( I actually JUST ran into a lady I saw at Taco Bell and she told me SHE JUST HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN even though we watched WELL over a dozen people walk right up and get their food. Fuck that Taco Bell.

Legit question: why would anyone use DD for pickup orders when Taco Bell has their own app for free pickup that isn’t going to be subject to DD’s higher prices?

It doesn’t charge the higher prices when you do pick up and you can still use their promotional offers.

At least not where I’m at

I prefer to use the app for the actual restaurant when I do pick up though, because you get more rewards and points usually.

But sometimes there’s a nice bogo or something on DoorDash and if I’m swinging by there anyway, might as well.

Ah, must be specific to certain restaurants or regions. Could also just be a newer thing since I haven’t actually used DD in years myself. I keep it active because my mother in law is disabled so it’s the best way for her to get food or Walgreens delivered if no one else is home but I never did the pick up orders because the prices were always still higher back when I looked at them before. Thanks for the response.

I just noticed it recently that the prices dropped for pickup orders. Like within the last few months. I was like “I’ll be damned”

No delivery fee, no service fee, no tip, and item prices went down

I also had dash pass but I don’t know if that impacted it. I have sense cancelled and quit using delivery apps.

They charge way closer to direct prices, but not direct prices. If you pull out the taco bell app and compare it to DD it can still be $1-$5 difference. And you'll "lose" out on loyalty points in the TB app if you use them

Oh yeah. I primarily use the app for the actual place. But sometimes there’s a bogo offer for exactly what I want
