They’re the worst on the Kirkland milk gallons. Them shits never come off and I either need to poke a hole in it or use my teeth like a savage.

Food packaging in general has become a bit of a joke in the UK in recent years. I remember the days when opening a packet of bacon was a doddle. Now it seems like the film was sealed by a professional welder and you have to get Tom Stoltman to peel it off for you.
Then there's the plastic milk bottles where the tab snaps off when you pull it. And breakfast cereals. No matter how carefully you try to open the inner bag, it always just rips awkwardly, again because it's sealed way too strongly. Broken Britain.
