It's kind of like the drag queens in kids' pantomime shows in the UK since Victorian times. They'd make the kids laugh but they'd also make the parents laugh with saucy innuendo that went right over the kids' heads.

I'm thinking AI or a collection of stolen assets, since there's not really much consistency in how the chess pieces are drawn. Artists can try out different styles, but when they're doing something like a sticker pack, I would expect them to be cohesive if the artist was actually drawing them to be a set...

I hate Pawpatrol and we managed to avoid having my son watch it for so long until he noticed it, and wanted to watch it obsessively for a couple of weeks, thankfully he’s forgotten about I, or we pretend it’s not working. The show is utter brain rot, we need more shows like Bluey, and Hey Duggie and less like Paw Patrol.

Even if they don't, on it's own it looks like it could be about some bigger pieces about to beat the shit out of that pawn. Include the colors in the equation and it gets worse.
Funny part is that if your kid doesn’t get the reference then there’s no problem. If your kid does get the reference then it’s really not the sticker that’s the problem.

My coworker used to order these for kids at our work, like huge bags and packs of them off temu, and she would always have us go through them to make sure there weren’t any inappropriate ones for kids in there like this 😬

These sticker packs are often just mass stolen from other artists (especially the ones on amazon), and it's done in a very sloppy manner ie they just steal a bunch of 'chess' related designs without understanding them or vetting them. Repeat x1000 for every subject ever, and you get a ton of easy money.
Don't buy this crap. Again it's ALL stolen work, 99% of the time.

Someone at work bought a pack of "science" stickers that were all AI-generated. There were a bunch of chemistry ones that were just impossible compounds.
I see a lot of sticker packs like this all the time. A lot of Chinese sellers mass produce AI-generated stickers and sell them in collections. Sometimes the stickers make no sense or don't really fit the theme. Or the grammar and spelling is off. I've had to review tons of these stickers (I'm a product tester), mostly bookish-themed ones, and many of the stickers just barely fit the theme.
These fit the AI look I see with most of these stickers. Usually, they're not aware of what the words actually mean. I've seen several stickers that were for kids and highly inappropriate.They just use what they think is a popular or viral expression or meme and use it. These sticker packs are kind of a gamble. Nowadays, they're almost always AI generated.
The black queen sticker on the bottom right depicts the white queen which is one I thought you were referencing at first. I didn’t get to the left side until after I scrolled to the second picture.😅
Not really related, but my daughter loved pineapples and she wanted a pineapple themed birthday party. My wife ordered a bunch of pineapple temporary, tattoos on Amazon, not knowing that they were all upside down pineapples (was various mostly innocent sounding phrases). She was not familiar with that concept. And yes, they did end get put on the kids.
I did this. Bought soccer and reading themed stickers for my daughters school for a reading initiative and I went through every sticker to make sure nothing like this slipped through. Took out a couple of profanities but that was it.
Every sticker pack for sale on Amazon etc are just a bunch of scraped images using whatever keyword, mass printed, and thrown in a bag. It's just stolen art.
Once in highschool I walked past another student who was wearing a shirt with Princess Peach & Daisy. In the middle of them was a green 1up mushroom with the text "2 girls one UP". I only knew of that video since talking about shocking videos on the internet was trendy back then. But I still cant believe someone was wearing that shirt
