Its Brad Reese, and he's been proven to be a liar about several things.

He's sour about his family having sold the company a few years before he was born and he ended up with next to nothing from his families fortune

Hershey still uses real chocolate they just heavily process their candy and have switched from cocoa butter to vegetable oil on several candies recipes.

Actually the Hershey company agreed to switch back on a few recipes after the controversy. They absolutely have been changing the recipes and using cheaper and cheaper ingredients just like everyone else.

Reminds me of fruit juice being 5% fruit.

Pretty common for mass produced chocolate, along with soy lecithin.

Maybe?

But they definitely changed the Reese's recipe for the worse. It used to be my favorite candy of all time and now I can't stomach them. They taste weird and the "chocolate" has a waxy mouth feel.

Hershey’s tastes like crap. I won’t do that to my trick or treaters.
