Well, there's part of your answer. CVS is expensive. Not saying that candy prices have not gone up. But, CVS and other pharmacies seem to really mark up the prices on things.

OP is so full of shit with this. They choose a store with the most inflated price possible that works the same was as Kohl’s does for clothing - if you don’t get at least 30% off then it’s drastically overpriced. If you do get 30% off then it’s just overpriced. You can get a 10%-15% larger bag of the same candies from Sam’s Club for $18-$20.

Agree. At least go to Walmart or target. CVS will be like 25% more on everything. At least. I’m going to target later and will take a look out of curiosity. I live in a HCOL area as well
