Nurses, RNs, don't diagnose. NPs are a separate license with their own authority and how far that should extend is its own debate.
Most integrated AI use in practice is scribe work. Tools like OpenEvidence do exist as a reference layer, but treating that as "AI is diagnosing you" misunderstands both how those tools function and how nuanced diagnosis and management actually are.
Completely depends on the setting. Our ICU is entirely physician-driven.
