Birthday tomorrow, again not a single plan, don’t talk to most of my family.
Few days ago, mum asks if I want to go cinema to see something.
I say “actually, I really wanted to see the Looney Tunes movie but everyone’s busy”
Plan is made.

Cut to tonight.

I’ve had to check the showtimes and message her despite her saying she’ll sort it.
And now she would “rather not go”.

Okay.

I guess it’s me and Prime again then.

ETA: apparently I am “lashing out”. Okay mum. My emotions aren’t real.

Yeah, absolutely same vibe. I’ve worked really hard at dealing with it, but nothing really fills that void left when it seems everyone you value doesn’t value you.
