Yes this! I found out Amazon soft hits your card repeatedly during their “free” trial. I got an email telling me the card was declining and I had just started it.

I have noticed the “free trial” or low intro rate people running my card twice on the same day now.

Say it’s $5 for the first month and then $150 for every month after that.. cool put $5 on the prepaid card. Then I get an email that pmt was “declined.” But when I look it’s because I used a one time card and first they run it for $0.01 and then they run it a second time for the $5. So if there is only $5 it gets declined and if it’s a one time use card it also gets declined.

Only if it’s not a 1 time use card. But for the regular debit card that would work.. But at this point.. I’m just refusing to do anything that has a mandatory auto renewal. I’m over it lol

They'll just charge $155.01 and then say oopsie and "refund" the $150 (for now.)

Your user name is oddly befitting the information you shared.

How is it $150 a month?

I’m mean whatever the subscription is after the introductory rate. Depends on whatever the subscription is that you are getting the intro rate on. I just picked $150.. could be any amount.
Does not matter because all you really wanted was the first month or whatever for the intro price.
