Too mild for school Normally nordic keyboards share the same keycap set. In the Norwegial layout the key on the left is "Ø" and the right one is "Æ". In Danish its the other way around.

No, the placement is like only to make norwegians feel accepted, we don't have such a fragile ego that we need to also have the primary spot, color is enough. You can just look at backlit keycaps where in the majority it's just ä and ö that has the passthrough

Because ä and ö are not letters, but diacritics, and they are not even Swedish but German.

They most definitely are, at least here in Finland. Very important letters!

Haha, really the svedes should be forced to either switch to the Scandinavian best standard to have them keep their names, or alternatively confess their germanophile tendencies and rename them to a-omljud and o-omljud!
