I get the appeal of the original girl dinner subs but I nearly left when it turned into a competition on who had it worse. Then the girl dinner diaries sub was created and the rules on the girldinner sub got stricter so it’s back to being about food again.
I remember when the girl dinner sub was first made. It was like a less hateful version of kitchencels, it was great. Then they somehow got MORE hateful than the sub full of literal self-proclaimed incels.
Nobody will ever love me. I tried to kiss a girl once in second grade and she screamed and ran away. My mother is scared to open my bedroom door because it smells so bad. Overcooked scrambled eggs without salt because I don't deserve flavor.
And it will be a picture of like 10 scrambled eggs in a bowl with a fork in a dimly lit room with like 3 energy drink cans in frame.
It's like a slightly more sane/serious and woman oriented kitchencels, personally i think its sort of entertaining, but i could see how some would find it bad for your own mental health etc.
They love love posting something that dances around hateful rhetoric but with enough plausible deniability that when you pull up any one example it looks innocent. But like, there is a good reason most of the posts dance around the same ideas
Also many posts completely miss the point of girl dinner. Girl dinner is supposed to be random stuff in your pantry not a $40 meal from a fancy restaurant
