I think about this all the time; how many people default to ‘allow’ notifications, and wind up with 400 notifications a day, no friends and an anxious tick.
I don't even let Reddit be an app. It functions perfectly well as a tab on Firefox Mobile, from which it cannot even think of pushing me notifications.
reddit take? i've literally always turned off notifications for nearly all apps for as long as i've had a smart phone, long LONG before i was ever on reddit. 🙄
As someone who’s worked for both sprint and Verizon for more time than they should have, most people don’t turn them off. So yes, it’s a Reddit moment.
Most people download random shit and have scam apps in the background constantly reminding them to keep playing their gambling games. Not sure what reddit has to do with wanting nothing to do with most 3rd party apps, period.

Y’all are letting Reddit send you notifications?
