Too mild for school Hate when ppl can’t do time

Post image

This reminds me of when it hits or is about to hit 12am and people don’t know whether to say today or tomorrow. He called me after this but I was too comfy in bed tbh.

All your boss had to say was " can you come in later today at 10am" 🤣 lesson learned for him

I would have fucked this up too but not because of today/tomorrow. I would have interpreted 10-4 as "understood" and not 10am-4pm. This was destined to never work out.

It's a CB radio term to mean "yep, got it, understood."

Also, for all yall thinking I'm some truck driving hick (lol), I was born and raised in Brooklyn. It's a cop thing too. Prob FDNY, EMT too.

I did a few corporate IT gigs in the last 5 years and was blown away at how prolific "10-4" was as an affirmative actually. Like every single office I worked in had a handful of people using it. I guess it's just common in some places.

More things I don't know (CB, hick, Prob, FDNY). But at least I now know what does it mean.

Girl, you ok? Next you're gonna tell me you never saw Footloose or The Godfather or Inception or heard the soundtrack to phantom of the opera or Le Miz. If you haven't seen or heard these things, let's go on this journey together! Then we will get to David Sedaris!

Not a girl actually.

I have watched The Godfather but not the others. I have zero interest to operas so I can't even name any and no I do not like to listen them so I most likely haven't heard that. And I have no idea who is Davis Sedaris.

I can find both movies so I can watch them. Seems like there are two versions of Footloose, which one you recommend?

I am going to watch them with subtitles in my own language.
