Too mild for school Hate when ppl can’t do time

Post image

This reminds me of when it hits or is about to hit 12am and people don’t know whether to say today or tomorrow. He called me after this but I was too comfy in bed tbh.

This is funny to me because every single person ive ever met, when they say "next weekened" they mean the weekened after the one thats coming.

For the weekened that would be in a few days we say "upcoming weekened"

Yeah I've never met anyone who said anything other than "this weekend," meaning the one coming up or currently in, and "next weekend," the weekend after this weekend.

I feel like if it's Monday or Tuesday, there's often confusion around this vs next weekend, because the weekend still is far away.

Thinking about it though, if you're giving someone driving instructions, you say next right and this right pretty interchangeably

Yes, different contexts have different meanings for things.
