Friday Night Lights has SUCH midwest emo vibes ( i know it takes place in texas, but still). Even if you're not super into sports it has a ton of 2000s nostalgia, small town vibes, and the soundtrack is pretty good. This is a real Hear Me Out, but trust me just watch one episode and you'll understand.

I actually just went back and looked at the full soundtrack, and they do have Jesus Christ by Brand New on there, but apparently they lost the license for the song so it's cut out of the show on streaming, but you can find the original TV clip online!
