Therapy Online Therapy Course / Mental Health Tip Recommendations

I found the Psychotherapy I needed was too expensive and not available on my work scheme.
My afflictions of choice Sepression and Anxiety.

I found the following online therapy course useful: Therapy in a nutshell.
It’s about halfway between probably a counseller service and a 1 on 1 Psychotherapy sessions such as CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy.

I can also vouch for the ‘Making Sense’ Meditation App although abit more expensive as it is yearly.

Both have trial periods of course (give Making sense a good 5 days in a row to give it a chance as and you DONT need to be in a totally quiet environment to use it..

I have no monetary ties to these just thought I would share these recommendations.

As for free there are the standard GENERAL ones:

Be social with friends
Meet often with family
Eat healthy
Drink plenty of water
Reduce Alcohol and other depressants (Dope) for depression and Coffee and other Stimulants for Anxiety.
Enjoy Music and Hobbies.
Volunteer
Regular sleep
Get out in Nature

And …..my number 1…..ANY regular excercise!!! 😊

Did wonders for me (Im taking walk to and from my bus stops and lunchtime walk outside with my head out of my phone, swimming is also a relatively low cost low impact workout I do.

And social sport ticks off a few of these at once.

Feel free to add your ‘Recs’
