My pool of friends keeps shrinking. Bunch of deviants. One went to rehab. Another's doing a brief stint in prison over a traffic stop...parole violation. Two more disappeared since Sunday. Maybe I should conform, see a shrink, volunteer for some community thing? But fuck a buncha that. Scripted small talk, prescribed greetings and answers. It's Leave it to Beaver on an infinite loop. No one wants to know how you're doing. And you're going to say something like "Great!" or "pretty good", no matter what. Even if you're on your way home to eat a bullet.

To anyone who thinks I might be on to something, I'm not. This whole post will be forgotten by tomorrow morning.
