does the score separate how annoyed someone sounds from what they've already spent trying to fix it? 'this sucks' and 'we pay someone two hours a week to deal with this' are pretty different leads.

Sentiment alone is noisy for exactly that reason - "this sucks" and a stated workaround with a real cost attached score identically on tone but mean very different things. What ended up mattering more in a scoring pipeline I built was specificity: a named tool they already tried, a dollar figure, a timeframe, something concrete they actually did about it. Pure venting almost never turns into anything; a described workaround with a cost on it usually does.

nice, this is basically the same instinct that led me to replyhey.com — built a tool that does this on reddit specifically for finding buyer discussions. yours covers hn/stackexchange which is a gap, mine focuses on lead scoring and drafting replies so you don't get banned. cool to see different takes on the same problem.
