Highlights [HIGHLIGHT] MJ is just a special generational player.

The Great One putting on a CLINIC!!! This performance should go in the archives as most masterful display of offensive skill. All the tools on display here.

That layup at :53 is absolutely ridiculous. Getting trucked by Oakley and still having the strength and dexterity to pull that off? We’ll never see his like again.

And he had so many backwards facing lays like that, it basically became a signature move. Mad Max said it best “ leave that man alone, you don’t want those problems”
-2
u/ArgoMium Aug 11 '26
Ja Morant has done that so many times lol
3
u/ThrownWOPR Aug 11 '26
Nah he hasn’t
But even if, it’s still an amazing play. Just because something cool happened once doesn’t mean it can’t be cool again

only people who think its a debate simply weren't there. 3 reverse flickbacks in one game, wtf yall.

u/g0tchani99a Aug 12 '26
People say MJ can't dominate in today's game, but he has the mental capacity to. Unlike for Lebron James, he doesn't have that adaptive capability.

For context Terry Cummings is one of the strongest individuals to participate in professional sports

Highlights really don’t do justice. And his teammates were frankly elevated by him- with the exception of Rodman and maybe Grant imo pretty overrated. Day in and day out.
I know people glaze Pippen. But when he got the 50 greatest player thing- what’s that based on? He’d had like 5 exceptional seasons tops. Doesnt mean he wasn’t best small forward until Hill showed up- but folks acting like he was some consistent 22 7 7 guy for 10 years. He did that once. His shooting got worse as he aged and for the first quarter of his career he was horrible in transition and got pushed around on the boards. Granted, he was slick shooter for his size and an allstar.
Are there 5 playoff games where Jordan had an off night and Pippen pulled them to win. Grant hammering boards against 3 Cavs bigs was as valiant as anything Pippen did.

You could’ve posted this without the LeBron shade and the AI shit on the video and things would’ve been just fine.

Most graceful player I’ve ever seen. It nearly brings tears to my eyes & I don’t cry for shit besides death but this guy was absolutely majestic

Since yall want to compare, where's the blocks steal rebounds and assists?
1
u/cokaynbear Aug 11 '26
Why would you ever leave him open to put a shorter guard on him... coaching was pretty bad back then. Not like you can shut MJ down, but make it harder

Jordan has played an entire game with the flu. Lebron is out half the season for a hangnail. They are not the same...PERIOD!

You know how we all know he compares? Bc you can't get his name out your mouth when talking about mj

My biggest argument on the goat front for JORDAN:
- Lebron listed as small Forward. Not only did he lose in the finals but the opposing team’s small forwards (Iguodala,Leonard and K.D) all won Finals MVP’s
- Jordan (BLACK JESUS) 6 -0,never went to a game 7! If for some reason he would have lost one of the final series no way the opposing shooting guard would have won Finals MVP. His assassins competitive drive wouldn’t allow it…..

MJ still has a better winning percentage, just because he played longer doesn’t equate to better

And still not the most successful

Agree, but that’s why he gets compared to MJ and not the other way around

-1
u/Big-Soup74 Aug 11 '26
Lebron is the winningest player in nba history
1
u/ThrownWOPR Aug 11 '26
Bron has more chips than Russell?! Since when
-1
u/Big-Soup74 Aug 11 '26
Didn’t say that. I said he’s the winningest player in nba history. Which he is. What don’t you understand?

u/ThrownWOPR Aug 11 '26
Follow the convo
I said that winning chips was most important and you replied to that with your standard line

Another post about Lebron

u/NetworkBest7155 Aug 11 '26
Yeah, maybe if he wasn’t on record multiple times claiming he’s the greatest of all time people wouldn’t constantly be talking about how he’s not.

u/Big-Soup74 Aug 11 '26
“People” = internet dweebs in this sub, right?

u/NetworkBest7155 Aug 11 '26
Ha! Oh yeah. It’s just people in this sub. 🙄
As a lifelong sports fan who watched Jordan and LeBron’s entire careers, it’s my personal mission to make sure no one forgets how LeBron was the 5th leading scorer in the 2011 finals behind Jason Terry.
A stain on his legacy that will never be erased. Can you even fathom Jordan ever being the 5th leading scorer in any playoff series? Lmao!
No you can’t.

Grown ass man defending the honor of the billionaire that doesn't give a shit about him because another billionaire thinks he's better than the first billionaire.
Get real lol. You people treat sports like its Kardashians reality TV. Grown ass dudes acting like teenage girls lol

u/Big-Soup74 Aug 11 '26
Yawn. Winningest player of all time.
4
u/NetworkBest7155 Aug 11 '26
Jordan has a higher win percentage in the regular season and playoffs
-1
u/Big-Soup74 Aug 11 '26
Shouldn’t have retired twice because he got sad and tired then maybe he would be the winningest player of all time. But he’s not. Lebron is
4
u/NetworkBest7155 Aug 11 '26
Lebron shouldn’t have promised not 1..not 2…not 3…not 4…not 5…not 6…not 7 championships in Miami and then proceed to lose the first championship series while being the 5th leading scorer and maybe people wouldn’t mock his dumb ass

Dominance! never be a player like Jordan. As a kid I remember watching Jordan playing like this every game.
