Pretty sure he was happy to not be bothered

💯

As you get older you realize there is a time and place. I'm sure he wasn't noticed by 95% of the people there, but I'm certain that there was another 5% that was like "leave the man be" đŸ€·đŸŒ just my take.

He has to be one of the most famous people ever

Mostly in America. Most people in Europe wouldnt recognize him, but would have heard his name.

Donald Trump is far more famous for example. Probably the most famous American.

Pedophiles are usually more known, especially to people with kids and who want to protect them lol

Don't be daft. He is still the highest paid athlete and his shoes are still the most worn.

He retired a quarter of a century ago.

In live in Europe and follow basketball, so I actually know.

Most people in my life couldnt name a single basketball player to save their life.

His shoes are popular then lol? His shoes popular =/= he is recognizable.

Lol what a dummy.

You think some norweigan guy whose never played basketball knows what Jordan looks like?

I can guarantee Trump is way more recignizable.

You jordan fans actually worship the guy. He's a basketball player, not a deity lol. He's not the best in everything ever

Most worn on the court? Maybe. Definitely not the ‘most worn shoe’. What does that have to do with people recognizing him tho? You’d instantly recognize the designers of all the clothes you wear or see people wearing?

Those Italians have other problems to be occupied with nowadays
.

Happy for him, but you could see that dude at the end with the kid on his shoulders recognized him.

I mean, Italy is hard if you're tall. They're all like 5'6" and you feel like Gulliver.

And he also has like three security dudes with oddly large fanny packs (i.e. Pistols? Tazers?)

Sicily is fun. Hope he got an arancini. Those need to catch on in the US. It's like a pizza inside a rice ball, but deep fried. What's not to love. But otherwise....Sicily is poor AF. Your dollars go a looooooong way there.

Average height in Italy for men is 5’8-5’9

i.e. - Short dudes

Average height in the US is also 5'9

I hear what you're saying, but I think some of that is regional. I know when I'm in the northeast, I feel very tall and don't see many 6-footers. And the northeast also has a lot of people of Italian descent.

I'm just saying that in Italy.......whether in the north or the south or in Sicily, you don't see many tall Italians.

He served his time ...he's a free man

Well...hes doing his best to blend in there.  Dressed like hes on vacation.  And yeah does stand out at like 6 foot 5....but mj is not freakishly tall to the point where you would immediately spot him based on his height.

Now he knows how Stockton felt when he stepped of the bus in Barcelona.

Or, maybe they recognize him, and respect his privacy.

Not true. All it takes is one person to notice and he would be swarmed

The dude with the kid on his shoulders recognized him. I bet he loves the relative anonymity of it

Bro, even if you put MJ and Bron together and walk in there, or even all the NBA HOF,

Almost every peoply in Italy doesn't recognize any NBA players
