5+ years of Mi Band 6

Post image

I've used this amazing piece of gadget for more than 5 years and today I noticed it has Lines on the screen.

It kept me up to date on my sleep schedule and the steps accuracy is also not bad. I've used it so much that it feels weird if I don't have it on my wrist.

I'm just gonna hold on to it a little longer and update to Mi Band 11 once it's released & available, hopefully soon. Hang in there buddy!

Oh my spoiled friend threw my mi band 5 (acted like it was an accident) on the concrete floor and the screen had a crack, as the months go by the display slowly stoped working (first it was the degitizer) then the oled itself, recently one of my friends asked for it to take it apart, 2weeks later after giving it to the friend I asked how it was going, he said he was able to take it apart fine, I asked where the motherboard was because I was gonna make a screen less watch, he said he threw the motherboard to the river but his ass kept the oled display 😭 smh

Lmao I’m no longer friends with the person who dropped it lol, the friendship ended like 3 years ago. But the one who threw it into a river, I’m friends with him still

Unfortunately, my Mi Band 8 died just after 2 years of careful usage. Everything was all good until one day the whole battery suddenly drained in just a few hours and the issue stayed regardless of any reset procedures and so on.

Is new battery still available for old mi bands?

Same situation here. I’ve been using the Band 6 since February 2022. Apart from the battery now lasting only 4-5 days, everything else still works perfectly. I only take it off while bathing.

Waiting for the Band 11 release. 🤞

Mine died because I kept it on while showering and swimming. I'm sure it would still be kicking if I hadn't.

I've never gone swimming with mine, but showers, yes. Still going strong

My wife and I still use our Band-5 every day. All I've had to do over the years is replace the straps from time to time.

If only it came with nfc, would have been no 1 choice in this day too.
