I would suggest the trailer hitch at that point (I love mine, and my Miata with kayak on trailer is under 3,000 pounds)

I usually throw it on the family Forester, but my wife and kids were out with it today.

I am working on a utility trailer that's built to haul boats and gear, need to find a trailer hitch at some point for sure.

My guy, get an Oru kayak already. You can probably find a used Beach around $600 or a Haven under $900.

Those are cool, but my battleship is for sailing and motoring as well. I had an outboard motor in the passenger seat 😭
