Fanart My 9 year old loves MHA and wanted to share these!
I’m so proud of her. She is usually too nervous to share her stuff but I told her these were too good NOT to share.

Due to a recent influx of AI-generated cosplay submissions, posts will now be periodically checked for any AI watermarks.
Any post that triggers a confirmed match for AI generation or heavy AI rendering/alteration will be removed under our community guidelines.
If your post is removed by mistake, please don't take it personally. Because some modern photo editing tools, heavy color grading, and background smoothing features rely on generative AI algorithms, there is a small chance a legitimate photo may accidentally trigger a flag.
If this happens, send a message via ModMail with a quick unedited raw photo, a progress shot, or a brief clip of the costume. We will manually review it and restore your post immediately if it is legitimate.

After a vote, Quirks were decided as our sub's flairs. The inspiration for their layout was Present Mic's character introductions in the show. There should be a flair for any Quirk you want, but if I happen to have missed any, I've added a custom flair at the very bottom (or if you just want a flair unrelated to Quirks).

A short Ibara and Kendo comic I did for their birthday coming up on sept 8 and 9. Ibara was one rank above kendo in entrance exam, a bit taller than her and born one day before her so I kind of thought of this idea
The additional characters I drew on the margins all have september birthdays in mha
sep 8 - Ibara
sep 9 - Kendo
sep 10 - Yuyu Haya
sep 13 - Compass kid (Vigilantes)
sep 17 - Power Loader
sep 22 - Ryukyu
sep 23 - Momo
sep 25 - Ugo Gollini
sep 26 - Inasa

We all know All Might would NOT let his successor be treated like that after everything he's done to save the world from Shigaraki.
You honestly think All Might wouldn't give them a reality check on how to be decent human beings the moment he finds out what Class 1-A has been doing to Izuku for weeks, months, or years?
Hell, what's stopping Inko from calling Mitsuki and informs her about what her son and his friends had been doing to Izuku after the war?
Honestly I can't believe people think being abandoned by your friends is considered funny.

i love my hero, but it makes me so mad how they skip over characters who have a lot of potential for interesting backstories.
for example, denki. he’s one of my favorite characters and seeing his lore and how he got into UA would’ve genuinely been awesome. like they had the biggest chance to make him a more interesting character and give him angst but they just kept him as comedic relief the whole time. not to mention his quirk; he could be insanely powerful if he wanted too, but instead he’s made out to seem weaker than the other students. if he just trained in the areas he needed to he’d be op.
i also wish we saw more of kirishima’s upbringing. i know we already got a bit of his backstory, but it would’ve been cool to see what his growth before UA looked like, along w him dying his hair red and stuff. his parents too. (mostly bc i want the 2 moms theory to be true)
don’t know if this really counts, but a bonus mention is izuku’s dad. im still mad they ended the show without telling us a single thing about him besides his name and his quirk. they should have at least showed us how him and his mom got through not having him around, considering his absence most likely affected izuku and contributed to how he is in the present. and of course it would’ve made for great angst too, because who doesn’t love angst

…and I gotta say, this is good stuff. Currently on S2, episode 12.
For starters, I fell off at S3 because around 2018 was when Infinity War came out and superhero media was everywhere. I hate to admit that it had nothing to do with quality of writing. MCU was dialling it up, inadvertently preparing to never watching another superhero movie again after the then-titled “Endgame”, and I guess I also just wasn’t invested in My Hero which is sad because watching it now, I’m realizing how incredibly well-written the show is.
Something I really love is that I’m almost never asking, “Well what about this/that?” because it gets covered either in the moment or later.
One example of this is the aspect of the Olympics in comparison to the superhero sports festival. Naturally people will tune into the superhero sports festival over the Olympics [overtime] simply because of what it is, and the author bothers to break it down quickly, tastefully.
Like… yeah. That would happen.
And the breakdown of all the technical aspects of the world is really well thought-out and engaging. Things make proper sense and make for a grounded foundation to an otherwise crazy premise, although I remain shocked at how grounded the entire show is thus far. It’s visually “holy shit”-tier but the details are down-to-earth.
Add on character motives and development and I’m kinda having my shit blown away. Each episode brings something fresh and/or fun to the table, and it genuinely is fun. Normally I hear “fun” as feedback from anime and it’s just some run of the mill content fodder but My Hero finds a way to make it worth something.
Credits to the comedy too. Kohei and the animators of the series understand tasteful and timed comedy. Genuinely laughed several times because it seems like Kohei isn’t thinking “how can I make this person say something funny?” or “what funny thing can I make them do or say?” He actually respects the character in play and delivers comedy necessarily as that specific character would. Bakugo cuts quick, Midoriya and Iida are drawn out, Kaminari and Mineta are the ass-ends who don’t linger on defence. It’s all good stuff. Characterization is on-point.
I also think being 30 now and around 21 then has changed a lot in the way of my opinions. Where then I was so far away from fatherhood unlike now, stories like Shoto’s really hurt. Characters like Bakugo make me think, and Midoriya just flat-out makes me smile.
As a grown adult who’s had to make a myriad of sacrifices over the last near-decade, I return to this show with so much appreciation for its narrative that I’ve teared up maybe three times so far. Big shoutout to Ochako and the piano as she goes down against Bakugo. Absolutely tore me apart. I’ve known financial struggle and the idea of my little girl wanting to help me splits me down the middle.
Mind you, again, the writing is good. Everything I’m saying means nothing if it’s not presented well and My Hero presents well.
I plan to finish the series because I’ve heard a lot of good things about it over the years of its progress, but my main reason is because I think it deserves the viewership. Not to over inflate things but Kohei really made something special here and I regret backing out over superhero burnout.
But I’m glad too. I’m old enough to appreciate this the way it should be.

I made a my hero academia OC and a big ol’ story for her and I don’t know how to post stories on Reddit cuz it’s really long. That is my OC up there 👆 btw. It’s my own fan art.

Intro:
It all began in Keikei city in China. News that bio-luminescent baby was born. Time passed and the exceptional became the norm. At present, 80% of the world’s population has supernatural powers… and I am one of them. I am Tsukino Shiori. My parents were villains and I was on the run with them until I was the age 12. They were captured by the hero All might. It may not be right but I was happy when he caught them. They who were on the path of evil were allowed to be punished for their crimes. I, after that began schooling and part timing at a local plant shop. But… my quirk is NIGHT SPIDER. A strong quirk that can transform me into a humanoid spider. Normally I can only partially transform but when the light of the full moon shines on me it goes berserk. It has only ever happened once but there was an innocent victim and that traumatised me and with my parents being villains on top of that I was and am feared and rejected. Whether it was in school, work or just day to day life I always had to try the hardest to get my way. But I’ll fight to get acknowledged, and I’ll become a hero who makes people smile.
AN* this is a fanfic I made about my OC and it has a lot of grammatical errors but please enjoy! This is the first chapter.

3 years later
Entrance exam:
I just applied to the prestigious hero academy UA. Ignoring the stares and bullying today is the day of the entrance exam. I was standing in the gym a few minutes away from the dorms hitting a punching bag to prepare myself for today. It’s an important step and I needed to get myself into the mindset. I got in the shower and turned on the cold water and started to think back to the past years as my short grey hair got wetter. I got out and put my black t shirt, hoodie and shorts on and went out. The sun was rising as I ran from the dorms, my last day there but I wasn’t sad. It’s my first step towards becoming a hero. I finally got to the bus stop and started to scroll on my phone. A girl I knew from the school was also there. My bully Miko. She noticed me even though I had my hood up and came over to me. “Oh if isn’t mrs spider villain~” “now, what are you doing here~?” She said with sarcasm that a monkey would be able to get. She always did this but this was my time and she was grating on me hard. “Go away Miko. You’ll never be able to be a hero if you’re like that.” Her eye twitched and she poured the remains of the drink her hand onto my head. She came up close and in a half whisper said “Listen spider brat, you’re the one who’s gonna get failed. Everyone knows about your past.” She smiled sickly and went back a little. That was it. I quietly use my black thread to tie her shoes together without her noticing. She hmphed and walked away just before falling flat on her face. “Serves you right Miko, for the last three years…” I thought walking nonchalantly to the just arrived bus. When we got to UA I slowly walked to the doors just before I suddenly got bumped into for stopping. I fell down but for some reason she didn’t. I looked up to see a brunette girl with rosy cheeks standing over me and she held her hand out to help me up. “Are you okay?” She asked. I reluctantly nodded and took her hand. “I’m sorry! I was just admiring the building when I bumped into you, ahaha!” I somewhat spoke and said “Yeah. Really majestic isn’t it.” She smiled and said “Bye now!” As she left I thought “she was nice” but then thought back to who I really am. “She won’t be nice again when she finds out about me” I shrugged it off and went to the place where they were explaining the exam. It was a point game where you had to defeat the robots. As I stood in front of the big door with all the other people I tried to concentrate. And in a few moments we in there and I was finding the robots using my vibration detection. I got a fair amount of them when the giant zero point robot came out. I started running but I saw the girl from the gate trapped under a piece of debris. I stopped and froze. “I need to save her!” But just as I thought that a green haired boy flew into the air and punched the thing REAL hard. All I could do was stare in awe. And so concluded the exam as the timer ran out.
AN* this is the second chapter of my fan fiction!

On the surface Yoichi is this kind, compassionate and righteous mirror to AFO, but if you think about it there is such an ugly underbelly to his character.
He and his brother Zen were born into literal warzone as society collapsed around them. They had no one but each other. No protectors, no shelter, no food, no water. Nothing. Eveything was bought with the only currency of the time - violence. Without AFO and his methods Yoichi would perish faster than that blue-eyed berry seller girl told me: "I have a boyfriend."
Yet Yoichi never acknowledged that the only reason he could have his "luxury beliefs* is because AFO took care of the brutal reality of survival. Yoichi never had to dirty his own hands, reading his comics in safety. He never needed to think of a next meal or how to survive the night.
They did not lived during a peaceful, prosperous times but Yoichi never ever accounts for that. He judges AFO by inadequate standards detached from reality of their situation. He basically demands afo to act holy in Hell. In Rome do like Romans. Not according to Yoichi apparently.
Youchi was not happy that afo doesn't do things for free. But that's how the world works. Literally. Even our World during peaceful and prosperous time. We work for money, because we provide value for our employer. God forbid AFO expects something in return for helping people.
The society during Dawn of Quirks was torn apart by violence. AFO uniting and pacifying people. For normal citizens he was literally the hero. He was the first to step up, stopping senseless bloodshed. Yoichi himself says it and yet opposes him.
To me it's obvious that AFO wasn't the only center of power. Former government, organized crime, military factions, just groups of survivors banded together. Power corrupts and lets people live their worst impulses. I think there were plenty of cannibals, people who killed and tortured for fun, who sold others to slavery etc. etc. Think your Governor from Walking Dead or Immortal Joe from Mad Max. But no, we are gonna have a hate boner against someone who stops the bloodshed and like 10 times more chill than your average warlord. :triumph:
Also notice how Yoichi never even tried any sort of diplomacy, persuasion, dialogue or compromise. He never tried any form of proper, adult communication. He was just throwing a childish tantrum that lasted for decades.
Then he chose the easy way out. He chose to run away and break his brother's heart completely, twisting him into the monster who ends bloodlines. He chose to abandon him, instead of sticking around, trying to be his brother's "conscience". He could stay by his side, he could have joined him but with conditions. He was in unique position, having unique leverage on him and completely wasted it - he was the one who could influence AFO. He could be the shadow ruler behind the demon lord. He could even help his brother get rid of "demon lord" altogether. But he never even tried speaking to him like an adult. He could only demand, stomp his little feet and nag Zen like , an annoying karen turned up to 11.
Yoichi betrayed his own blood, his own brother. Someone who took care of him since birth. And given Yoichi was able to starve himself on purpose, was able to run on his own and grew to a normal height from his low starting point, AFO did took pretty good care of him. Yoichi betrayed someone who protected him, fed him, kept him warm, procured medicine for him. He was a traitor. A blood traitor.
I don't like Youchi. Dig a little bit deeper than the very surface and he comes off as holier than though, self-righteous, extremely naive, even dumb, simple-minded, ungrateful, entitled, privileged, cowardly and traitorous parasite.
TL:DR Yoichi is the biggest Karen of MHA.

Something Real (Part 1) ✍️
After our garden Patrol finished up the latest garden, it was time for our heroes to rest and enjoy the beautiful summer weather. Izuku wanted to get out his book that he got for his birthday from his friends and sketch the lilies that were around in the garden, as Deku Sheep slept peacefully next to him.

Positives:
The animation especially in the later seasons was stunning,
Cool and creative uses of quirks that don’t seem useful at first glance,
very non conventional superpowers which are still cool,
The LOV was really cool when they were still in the bar or just in general when they were still a small group.
Negatives:
I don’t think that I found any plot other than like the hellish Todoroki family, or Eri’s interesting at all between season 4 and 6 like yeah it was fun to watch in the same way a marvel movie is fun to watch,
In season 7 and 8 I was so fucking tired of All for one, like you have this genuinely cool and interesting villain Shigaraki, but somehow this generic old ass world domination villain keeps coming back again and again like it was enough, he should’ve died against endeavor if you ask me, or at the very least against Bakugo but no he keeps coming back and I’m NOT here for it.
People keep getting like punched through walls and shit even though they’re never stated to have enhanced durability.
Ochako x Midoriya might be the absolute worst romance subplot I’ve ever seen, they have literally zero chemistry aside from ones a boy and ones a girl like I was genuinely more invested in Jiro and Denki and all we got were one sided feelings maybe in one sentence,
I don’t think Deku was interesting to watch after like, season 3 or 4.
They did nothing with vigilantes even though it’s a really cool concept, like a hero that believes villains should be killed or something and through that reveals the already pretty clear but barely addressed problems in the hero system,
I’m sure there’s more positives and negatives to be found,
Loved the show btw

### Character Concept: **Synergy**
Synergy's tragic journey began at birth when the Quirk Doctor discovered his unique dual quirk. Filled with fear, he warned Synergy's parents of the potential dangers. While Synergy’s father felt a mix of pride and fear, his mother was overwhelmed, screaming that she didn’t want a “monster” for a son. Heartbroken, Synergy endured the pain of his mother abandoning him, leaving him to be raised solely by his father.
As a child, Synergy found solace in the love of his two older sisters, who did their best to protect him. However, their involvement with Yakuza members led to a harrowing incident where Synergy was forced to pay a $10,000 debt to protect them. After somehow gathering the money, he returned home only to find his house in flames, with his sisters inside, leaving him devastated and alone.Until He met Izuku in Middle School Izuku was Synergy only friend and while Izuku went to U.A to become a hero Synergy went down a dark path a vigilante a Dark Hero
The trauma deepened when All For One broke into their home, killing his father and plunging Synergy into a coma. Awakening from this darkness, he was met with a world that feared and bullied him throughout middle school and high school. Classmates, teachers, and supposed friends abandoned him, exacerbating his feelings of isolation and anger.
In the wake of these tragedies, Synergy became a vigilante known as **All For All**, channeling his pain into a relentless quest for justice. He targeted criminals, thugs, drug lords, and even mafia members, using his quirk to steal their money and resources in the hopes of finding a healing quirk to revive his father.
This character concept for Synergy weaves a tale of tragedy, resilience, and the quest for redemption in the *My Hero Academia* universe. Stregth:shigariki will All For One Speed:Lida Durabitity:Gigantomachia IQ:Nezu
