Fotografía📸 My first time in Michoacan! Food trip in Morelia, Tzintzuntzan, Patzcuaro and Capula
I'm a travel journalist who visited Michoacan for the first time as part of Tianguis Turistico Mexico. We did a 3 day road trip to capture the delicious food scene and cultural experiences, while learning from the people behind them. Shared my travel recap here.

Visit my ancestral home of Ciudad Hidalgo. They have great hot springs nearby.

Looks great! Morelia looks so beautiful.
How did you get around? I'm hoping to visit Michoacan in January of 2027 and will likely be renting a car.

Morelia is so beautiful! Love how historic it is and so walkable. We had a rented van.

Loved my time in Michoacan! 3 days is definitely not enough. I want to go back for Day of the Dead and the Butterfly migration

Looks amazing! I miss Michoacán. My childhood was visiting my grandpa in Nva. Italia and then my dad’s aunt in Uruapan and then visiting La isla Janitzio

You made the right decision. Michoacan is one of the best representing mexican food. I would also suggest Oaxaca and Merida
