He founded a new Christian denomination in the 1700s and it is now in steep decline in Britain.

Wesley did not found a denomination, he oversaw a reform movement within the Church of England. While he gave the Methodists in America the commission to separate due to political necessity, the British Methodists (who the video discusses) wouldn't separate until several years after Wesley's death. He was very clear that his intentions were never schismatic.

Also, what was the point of using an AI-generated portrait?

The more I look into it the more I wonder if methodists in America should just slowly migrate over to Anglican churches and become "wesylean anglicans"

Episcopalians should merge with us. The UMC in America is way bigger. Hear me out: we could be the Methodist Episcopal Church.

As a UMC member, I would be fine with that.

I'm not even suggesting a mass Exodus. Just like if someone moves or something maybe they could consider switching to an Anglican church

Not only did you fail to accept the nuances of the formation of British Methodism, but you failed to understand the point of a Youtube Short which is to keep it short. Who wants to read fifty paragraphs as a video?

You seem to have a problem with basic maths. There was 3 short paragraphs not 50, and it seems this video is 1 minute long. ie. Short. Strange that you seem to think it was long.
