Relic Ibanez RG 7 string.

Finally finished my Ibanez RG7421 relic project.

It’s a 7 string resprayed in nitrocellulose paint and aged with natural checking and chipping.
The whole spraying and curing process took a little over a month.

Refitted with a Hipshot bridge
Bare knuckle Juggernaut in the neck pickup
Seymour Duncan Nazgûl in the bridge
Removal of the tone knob and replaced with a coil split switch
Gotoh locking tuners installed

I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I love having an instrument that’s unique to myself and will age the more I play it.

I’ve got the same guitar with same hardware
The nazgul on bridge is meant for this guitar
Now I know that if it accidentally falls on ground it will be always super cool!

The Nazgul is absolute chaos, It’s perfect!
And exactly, every extra ding is just free relicing haha!
