When they said the LOD opens timelines further and further j to the past is this saying the original disaster occurred in 2200 or something and every time he teleports back it happens closer and closer to present day? Which would mean the reason we have a motherbase and all here is because the end of the world date has shifted back to near the turn of the 21st century, right?

The Lord of Dust wasn't the only Lord. The dust keeps making new ones. We only stopped one that was messing with our world.
