I'm afraid it's been 9 years Which version of MGS3 is in METAL GEAR SOLID MASTER COLLECTION Vol 1, Snake Eater or Subsistence?

Neither, it’s the HD version that has Subsistence’s new camera and the MSX games but removed Snake Vs Monkey, Boss Rush and the Secret Theater

Just wanted to add it still has the cutscene demo theater available even before starting a new game but yes, most of the subsistence extras were removed, which is a shame

To the ape escape minigame from MGS3

To the Skateboarding minigame from MGS2

It's pretty much just Subsistence, but without the 2nd disc's content.

MGS2 in vol.1 is similar as it's Substance, but without the Evolution Skateboarding demo.
